ABC Home Services is run by Sergio Octavio Luna Guerra, who still walks nearly every estimate himself. That matters more than it sounds like it should. When the person quoting the job is also the person who has to stand behind the pour, nobody has an incentive to pretend the base needs less excavation than it does.
We have been doing this across Metro Vancouver, British Columbia for over 8 years, first as ABC Concrete Contractors and now incorporated as ABC Home Services Vancouver LTD. Same crew, same standard, just a company name that finally matches the size of the work.
From the tight laneway lots in East Vancouver, to the hillside retaining walls in Burnaby and on the North Shore, to the soft delta ground under Richmond, every part of this region fails in its own particular way. What does not change is the rule: nothing gets built until the ground under it is sorted. We excavate, we compact, we drain, we reinforce. It is the least glamorous part of the job and it is the entire reason our work is still level a decade later.
